Important Billing Policies

Individual Plan Verification

While we are in-network with the companies listed above, we cannot guarantee coverage for your specific sessions. Every plan is unique. We strongly recommend calling the member services number on the back of your insurance card to verify your mental health benefits, deductible status, and co-payment amounts.

The "No Surprise" Policy

• Valid Credit Card Required: We require a valid credit card to be kept on file for all patients.

• Up-to-Date Info: If your insurance information is not current at the time of your visit, the self-pay rate will be charged to the card on file.

• Referrals: If your plan requires a prior authorization or a referral from your primary care doctor, please ensure this is completed before your first appointment.

Helpful tip: If your insurances changes, take a photo of the front and back of your insurance card and email it to billing@angeloakcounselingsc.com at least a full business day before your appointment. This ensures we have your most current info on file!

Self-Pay Options

For patients who are out-of-network or prefer not to use insurance, we offer competitive Self-Pay rates. Please contact our front office for a current fee schedule.
